$97 & A Dream
FOVEL wasn’t born in a fancy kitchen—it started on the open road with just $97, a car, and two brothers chasing better days. Back then, we didn’t have a map, a cellphone, or even a destination—just the sense that it was time to leave Florida and find something better.
The Journey
With a little gas, a stash of crackers and ketchup, and “Los Angeles” as a distant idea, we set off. Along the way, we picked up short kitchen shifts just to keep moving. Each stop brought lessons, new faces, and a deeper feel for what makes a great burger and the perfect crispy chicken.
The Dream Today
That road eventually led to LA. There, I—Adib—took everything I’d learned and founded FOVEL. The journey was shared, but the vision became mine: to carry those miles, those strangers’ kindness, and countless hours behind hot grills into a place of my own.
Today, FOVEL stands for simple food done exceptionally well—crispy chicken, lacy-edge smash burgers, and sauces that hit just right. Every bite tells the story of starting from almost nothing, learning on the move, and turning a dream into something real.
